Current Support Groups....

I moved back here in early September and just now getting settled!  I would like to ask the members here if they could post any information about active support groups that are open to new members (regardless of who did their surgeries or type). 

Any info would be really appreciated---not just by me, but I am sure that there are other members of OH (in Colorado) that might be interested in attending a support group before and/or after their surgery.

I'm suprised you didn't get a response to your post.

I am a support group leader in Littleton (about 1/2 hour from you) and we are having our first meeting of 2011 next Wednesday.  You are welcome to join us.  We have been meeting since May of 2008.

We have decided to meet the 2nd and 4th WEDNESDAY of each month at Faith Community Church 6228 S. Carr Ct., Littleton, CO.  80123 from 6:30 to 8:00

One of our meetings will be a "Sit down & Chat" kind of meeting and the other will be some form of exercise/activity class.  (Zumba, Yoga, Aerobics, Hiking, etc.)

These meetings are open to anyone & everyone!

Thanks Yvonne!  I have made note of the address and dates.  Hopefully I can make it on the 4th Wendesday of January if not you can count on me for February as my surgery date is 1/31/2011.
