Approved, but have to wait for my Surgery Date!!
I GOT APPROVED!! YAY!!
BUT!! Since it is the Holiday Weekend, I will have to wait until Monday to see if I can get a DATE FOR SURGERY!! Seems no one is in the office to schedule my surgery! GAH!!
I am not the most patient person in the world, but I am trying!
I AM SO EXCITED!! I Can't wait for my RNY!!

I have my surgery date but don't know yet if I am approved. I have to see the nutritionist next week then all the paperwork will go to the insurance....so, we wait and hope!
Let us know when you get your date set. I'll cheer with you!

Just think its right around the corner for you (and me both) I feel your pain I am not very patient myself. I go on the 5th and will have my date then..I am so excited and a little scared but I know everything is going to work out for the best. Its awesome to have such a supportive group of friends to go through this with.

I wrote blog post about feeling exasperated. I just want a date, I am approved. I understand things getting in the way. I really just want a surgery date and I have been waiting for approval and the 6 month diet and the consults. Ah well. I will try to be MORE patient. OK I am venting..sorry about that!
I need the time off from work. I did not take vacation time last year because I wanted to stack my PTO time. Now that I have time, and before school starts, surgery would be grand to get :)
I am waiting...patiently, for that call with the surgery date.

I go in for pre-op stuff on Friday. WOW!
Well, I can understand him wanting to JUST be a surgeon and not having to deal with the admin side of it. Good for him!

HEY!! Is there a support group that you go to in the area? I would like to join one but unsure if there is one in Thornton or Westminster?

Yes there are support groups in both Westminster and Northglenn. I plan to try out both. I haven't been yet since the holidays cancelled or rescheduled many of them.
I'll try to look up some info on dates and times and let you know!
