I'm investigating surgical weight loss

That's great to know about United Health Care.    Congratulations on your weight loss. That's fantastic.  We certainly should support each other regardless of the type of surgery we've had as you are correct, many of the issues are the same.

I think that would be awesome.  I believe the next support group meeting will be Dec 13th.  I'm going to try to verify that this week and I'll let you and Ann know.

Well, I sorta got some disturbing news today.  Our new insurance policy at work went into effect today.  I worked closely with my insurance agent to make sure that the policy did cover WLS before we selected it.  She informed me months ago that it did.

Today she called them to check to see what types of WLS they cover because she knew I wanted the sleeve and I've heard that some insurance companies won't approve the sleeve. She was informed by the customer service rep that UHC doesn't cover weight loss surgery unless a writer is added to the policy.   She told him that writers are not done in Colorado. Now I have no idea whether they will cover it or not.,  I'm bummed.
