NEW! Live WLS support group meetings Pueblo Colorado

Beginning Oct 13th, there will be FREE live WLS support group meetings held in Pueblo, Colorado. The meetings will be held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM. The meetings will be held at St. Mary Corwin Hospital at 1008 Minnequa Ave, in the Bishop Tafoya Room. Enter the hospital at the old main entrance by the statue, and the meeting room will be on the left, just inside.

These meeting are free and you are invited to bring your support person with you. It is open to all surgery types, and to those considering WLS as well.

Oh, this is awesome!!! My Dr is in Denver and offers free support group classes 1 time per month, but I was dreading the drive espically with winter coming. After my son is done with football practice, I will plan on attending!! My surgery isn't scheduled yet, but my stuff is done, just waiting for the eval report and then the dr to write his letter to request approval, and then off it goes! I am hoping in about 2 weeks I will hear something!!!

Hello Patrece!

I just found out that there were different state sections on the OH website and found your post! I live in Pueblo, and I had my surgery in Denver. My surgeon also offers a once a month support meeting but I have not gone to any because of the dreaded drive. I was wondering and hoping there was something here in Pueblo, so I was very excited to see your post. I was just wondering if these meeting are still taking place?

I just found out today that there were state forums on this site. Sooooooo glad to see that there are meetings in Pueblo. I had surgery in Canon City, but I live in Colorado City, so I don't want to have to drive all the way down to Canon City - especially when winter sets in!
I don't think I'll be able to make it to tonights meeting, but next time - I'll be there!!
