Littleton Support Group Meeting Tomorrow (Thurs. 7/23/09)

We are having our usual meeting tomorrow with a twist…..   Come to Faith Community Church on Wadsworth in Littleton at 6:30 to 8:00 pm.   Please bring a picture of you before your surgery. If you haven’t had your surgery yet – bring a picture of you from your past that is a goal for you – or just a nice picture that you would like to share with everyone.    If you would also like to bring a shirt or pair of pants that you kept for a remembrance or an outfit that you purchased for your future YOU…. Bring that too!   This week we are sharing “Where we’ve come from and Where we are going"….. The Church is located at: 6228 South Carr Court, Littleton, Colorado. South Carr Court can be accessed by traveling south on Wadsworth, 1 block to the south of Bowles Ave. off of Parkhill. Click here for driving directions.

Yvonne - Are there any Bandsters that come to this meeting? I attended a Kaiser support group meeting yesterday and there were about 8 RNYers there and me. I would like to find a group with other Bandsters. I know some issues are the same, but I feel many are different and I need support from Bandsters.

Matt, I believe that Dr. Snyder has a support group that is open to any GB patients that is primarily banders and they meet up north.  You could check his website or call his office.  His website for me doesn't seem to be working right now but you never know.  www.denverbariatrics.com

When is the next Littleton support meeting? I had surgery on 07/28/09 and am looking for a support group in the area.

Our Littleton Support Group meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday at Faith Community Church at 6228 S Carr Court, Littleton CO  from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Our next meeting is Thursday, August 27th and we are expecting a guest.
