Anyone have Dr. Georgescu?

I'm pretty sure I am going to have my surgery with Dr. Georgescu, but wanted to see if there were others out there who have already had surgery with him.  I have had great help thus far from his office and have my surgery consult May 20th.  My main reasons for picking him are that he takes Medicaid, the location is very convenient for me, and in general have found he and his team to be very helpful and caring.  I'm just curious as to what your experiences were pre and post op.  Thanks!

I had my surgery with Dr. Georgescu  in Jan. of 2007.  Dr. G. is a great doctor with a wonderful bedside manner.   He sees his bariatric patients as family.  I've always had good visits with him and he listens to me when I tell him if  I need a fill or not.  His office staff is wonderful and are always there to listen to me when I have a question.  I had one time when I needed an unfill and they fit me in immediately.  They also have a support group that is well run and meets once a month.  Good luck.
