Hello. I am post gastric bypass (8/7/08). I have lost 74 lbs, 6 pant sizes and would like to lose another....60lbs to be early 20's weight. Although i feel fantastic for losing this much weight and wearing a pant size I can buy anywhere now, I feel SO VERY rundown. Getting out of bed is really hard let alone exercising and functioning. I am 32 years old and have children that rely on me, not to mention a wonderful husband who works 6 on/3 off outside the home! I cannot even think of cleaning anymore. I didn't start feeling this bad until about 2 months ago. Is this normal? I know that I have a lot of trouble getting my protein because I am NEVER hungry but I try very hard. Could this be the problem? I have had issues with depression for the last almost 7 years after losing my mother to breast cancer (she fought for 12 years!). So, I am no stranger to syptoms of depression and suprisingly feel very upbeat within. The best I have felt in almost 7 years. So, If anyone could give me some insight or suggestions I would be forever grateful. Thanks so much!

Good Morning Shawna and welcome!  I really think you should be discussing this with your doctor.  We are always here to talk with you, though.  My first thought was protein, then you mentioned that you having problems with that.  I drink protein shakes, daily.  Are you still taking all of your vitamins, etc?  It just really sounds like you need to talk to your surgeon.  Sounds like you are doing great losing.  Do you have a support group to attend?
Oh me....so many questions, huh?  Well, just know that we all want to help you.  Take care of YOU, dear Shawna, I know how hard it is to do with children.  I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom, I lost my Dad to cancer when I was 18, I do understand your loss.
