Has anyone had the stomafyx procedure?

I am sceduled to have the stomafyx procedure done on thursday april 10th.  I go to the colorado bariactric with dr thomas brown and dr. metz.  i just was wondering what to expect.

Is that a revision surgery? Holly

I've never heard of that procedure. Is that a relatively new one?

I was the first person and Dr. Metz first patient to undergo the stomafyx procedure.  It is a revisional surgery.  It has been one week and 1 day since I had it done.  I go see Dr on friday to see how everything is going.

Please tell me about this proceedure and how it's working for you. I just heard about this proceedure this morning and I would like more feedback on it because it's something I would like to try myself.

I would check into it more. I know of 2 people that have had it done and the failure rate is high. It didnt work for them. Carla
