colorado springs questions

I have read conflicting info about when the Penrose support group meeting is...does anyone know the current info? Does anyone have a nutritionist in the springs that they can recommend? Does anyone know of a therapist who deals with weight issues? I am over a year out- still below goal- but gaining and very nervous. Thanks- Holly

Hi Holly -  I can't comment on the support group and nutritionist in Colorado Springs....I had surgery in Denver.  BUT...my therapist is in Colorado Springs and she is AWESOME! Hi, Holly, There are different support group meetings at Penrose for RNY and LapBand.  The LapBand group meets tonight. You can check the website for info.  I'm not sure how often it is updated but there is contact info. http://groups.msn.com/PenroseHospitalWLSSupportGroup Trish

Hi Holly,  I just had my Nutrician appt with Laura Tonsits 3201 N. Academy Suite 100,        776-3601.  She was awesome!  I had my psych eval yesterday and that was with Dawn in the same office.  I am hoping to have my Gastric bypass mid June.  They were both GREAT, I would recommend them to anyone.  I hope this helps, let me know how you are doing.  Who is your Surgeon?  Mine is Dr. Fedorak, he was recommended to me and he was great also when I met with him a few weeks ago.
