i'm a bit nervous

well, i have my lap band surgery this tuesday and start my clear liquids tomorrow. for some reason i am more worried about the clear liquids than having the band put in. anyone else felt this way? also, i have the option of staying over nite but am really wanting to go home on tuesday. am interested in your experiences. thanks. oh by the way, i am really excited too!

I only had to do a clear liquid diet for 1 day before surgery, but was so nervous anyways that I didn't want to eat.  I was alittle cranky though! I did stay overnight and am very glad I did.  I had a problem with vomiting that night and was thankful they just gave me some meds to stop that, plus I was thankful for not having to worry about anything else but drinking and resting. I had rny with no pre-op diet. All I can say is it will all be worth it and good luck with everything! Keep strong and remember being nervous is completely normal before any kind of surgery.

thanks kristi. i am really excited and i have to say my nervousness is pretty much gone now that i have lived through the pre surgery liquids. i don't even feel hungry right now.  i will keep you all aprised.
