if you are using the DRs from Colorado Springs Surgical Associates, they have their own you need to go to.

Almost everyone has to use the providers that their insurance will pay for. Every insurance company only allows individuals to see certain providers in a certain area. My advice is to contact your insurance company and ask for a list of dieticians/nutritionists and psychologists/therapists/counserlors for the Colorado Springs area. Then you can ask around (posting, support groups, etc.) about certain doctors. You can also go in for a consultation appointment with some of the providers or call them asking if they are specialized in eating disorders or worked with weight loss surgery patients in the past. If you like your primary care doctor you could also ask if they have any references for the area. Good luck with your search.

I used Colorado Springs Surgical Associates and absolutely LOVE the nut and psych they use.  Both ladies are compassionate, educated and caring.  If you use one of these docs, I believe you will be very pleased with the results. Holly
