Recently I have been having a lot of pain in my back and it kills my tailbone to sit down especially at work where I try and sit up to look at the computer.  Has anyone else been having a problem with their tailbone and sitting?

It could be that you are losing your padding! Sometimes if I sit in a hard chair, my sitter hurts!!  Does a pillow help? Kristi

There are bones in my butt now that I never knew I had before! I saw a presentation by a plastic surgeon regarding weight loss patients...he was saying that alot of ladies lose their padding on their tailbone...his fix is to put some meat from above your butt on your tail bone to pad it up. Most of us just use a pillow or grab a better chair. I do find that now I sit more on my side and cross legged than before to save my tush from some pain. It's also nice to be able to cross my legs now! If it really hurts you can always talk to your doctor about it. My hips used to hurt and I talked to my doctor about it and he showed me some stretches that really help out. Good luck with everything.
