Hey Everyone!! I haven't posted on the CO forum yet...in fact discovered it not to long ago now. I had the lab band in June and have since become enthralled with exercise and getting outdoors!! I'm looking for people that want to join in! Mind you, by "hiking" I don't mean anything crazy yet. Just something more than flat land, but nothing too overwhelming. Let me know if anyone is interested!

I started a hiking group for WLS patients and we hike once a month if you are interested. Our next hike will be Sept. 22 and it will be at a place that has everything from easy to challenging trails. It also has lots of aspens so it should be gorgeous. Email me if you are interested. Pam

Hi there,  I would be interested in hiking as well.  Either with the group the last poster formed or another time as well.  I have not had surgery yet and would need easy trails but hiking is something I have always loved to do.  I live in South Aurora, close to Parker and would like to go sometime.  Send me a message anyone.  I would also love to see those Aspens when they start changing.   Jen

I am in Colorado Springs so I am a bit far. I also have a 2 1/2 year old to contend with so that makes it hard for me to schedule things in. But I think it's a great idea to have wls groups do something active like hiking. Kudos to the lady that already formed a group. I am going to try and get one of those hiking backpacks to stick my daughter in so I can go hiking more often, now that I can actually breathe and not stop every few feet!

I am from the Highlands Ranch area and work in Parker.  I would be interesting in a group doing outdoor activities such as hiking.  Please let me know what you have in mind and when.

I'd love to hike - I'm a month preop - but could do some easy trails now - I hike Red Rocks Canyon all the time - just a little slow going up hills. Would be good for a Saturday mid morning or a Sunday late afternoon
