New Here...Dr. Kirshenbaum??

I had my lap band with Dr Kirshenbaum and so far i have been real pleased.  As a cash patient you cant beat the price (about 10k including 3 months fills). I think he has done a great job.  He got mad at me before the surgury because i told him i had a beer when i was supposed to be doing my low carb diet pre-surgury (and he should scold me too!).   I will be going for my first fill on monday...wish me luck!   I hope you find the right doctor for you...its a personal decision...i have no regrets with mine.

i am having my band with dr. tom brown on tuesday. his prices were good and if you go to the lowry clinic they are better. i really like him because things are very low key but he is extremely available and has great outcomes.

I too had the surgery with Dr. K about 2 years ago. He is a fantastic surgeon and he has a new Bariatric Coordinator who is helping to get a nice support program going. He is one of the best Laparoscopic surgeons in the area. He taught many of the docs in the area how to do the Laparsocopic Gall Bladder surgery. He currently has one of the best prices in town and that's only because he worked at getting a good price so patients would quit going to foreign countries to have surgery. He only charges $15.00 for fills if you are one of his patients.  I highly recommend him!! If you want to pay for all the extra bells and whistles then you should go to another doctor who incorporates all of that into their cost.
