Seems like everyone is busy. Pre-op I was on here all the time. Since after my surgery I've settled down a bit. Trying to get back on though. Good luck with everything everybody!

I am here.  I have had several set backs in my long journey towards WLS.  I was having problems with my insurance company.   Does anybody know anything about Dr. Snyder?  I am going to a WLS seminar this Saturday, then I can make appt with the doctor.  I cant wait.  This has been about 3 year struggle for me.  Kaiser turned me down in 2004  "not medically necessary", Anthem approved the procedure in 2006 but will only pay $7500 I would have to pay $8000 out of pocket.  I took out what I thought was an addemdum to my present policy and held it one year before I could make a claim and they have decided they will not  pay because they are calling this an "elective procedure"  Finally I found out Rose Medical will allow you to make arrangements for the balance through there financial planning program, but that means a new doctor and new test and more waiting.  I can't give up no matter how many hoops I have to jump through.  I have never wanted anything more in my life than this surgery.   I know all your thought and prayers will be with me and my struggle.  This web site has been a life saver.  GOD BLESS
