Insurance

I am looking for some suggestions on getting my surgery funded.  My insurance company has a cap on the amount they will pay for the procedure which is $7500.00, the hospital will not admit me without the $8,000.00 balance.  I have a date of 08/01/07.  I am very upset and depressed about this.  This has been a 2 years journey.  Any suggestions are welcomed.  Maybe someone out there can help me.  Patrice

You must have BCBS/Anthem! I got approved for a loan through www.capitalonehealthcarefinance.com yesterday -- you have to make sure the doctor is connected with them, though, so you could ask about that. It seemed pretty straightforward -- and I don't have the strongest credit, either. There is hope! Let me know how it goes...

Who is your doctor, if you don't mind me asking?.

I agree with the capital one loans.  Check with the office and see if they are connected with them.  If not, maybe the hospital is.  Good luck and keep us posted!  This is worth it!!!  Don't give up!  There are options out there. Hugs, Dee
