need advice on surgery at penrose st. francis

Hi     I am having surgery at Penrose St. Francis. I am wondering, I got my insurance approval about two weeks ago. I called Jodi, and she said she did not have it yet, but that she would send me my paperwork so that I could get my nutrition appt, and Psych. Eval. This was over a week and a half ago,and I still have not recived or heard anything. I am going to call her on Monday to see what is going on, but would like to know if anyone else had surgery here, and if it took them this long to get their paperwork? I would really like to get this all taken care of so that I can get my surgery date.

Hi, I had just the opposite experience.  Jodi was the one to call me to tell me I was approved before I got anything in the mail.  If you have a letter from the ins. co. take a copy to her.  She can get the ball rolling with your copy. Can you call for you own appoiintment for the nutrition and Psych eval?  If so, I can give you the phone number for the learning center, PM me and I will send it to you.  Good luck.  Gayle

My whole process with insurance approval, doctor's notification, NUT and psych eval, pre-op testing took about a month and 1/2.  To me it was a whirlwind.  Jodi should be getting your paperwork soon and you'll be getting that wonderful phone call to schedule your surgery.
