surgery at Penrose st. Francis
Hi Robin!
After you have the psych. eval and meet with the NUT, there isn't too much else to do. Depending on their reports, you could possibly be scheduled for surgery within weeks. Keep in mind, I am saying possibly and only speaking from my experience. You will of course have to go through the routine pre-op testing, i.e. blood work, possibly a chest x-ray, maybe a gall bladder ultrasound depending on your surgeon.
Good luck! Feel free to contact me if I can possibly help.

As soon as the surgeons office received the approval from the insurance, they called and asked me what day I wanted to have my surgery. I was given several options, and they were wonderful about working around my schedule, so only had to miss 3 days of work (I am a high school administrator). The nurses on the floor were all wonderful.
