The waiting period...
Okay... so I'm new here at this forum. I have just had my 2 pre-evaluations, one with the Dietician and the other with the psychiatrist.... so I'm just jumping through hoops at this point.
I guess Jodi will file my paperwork soon over to Cigna... and then I'll be nervous Nellie until I hear that I have been approved. I've heard that Cigna is really hard core, and very tough... so I am trying NOT to be nervous. But really, I want this so badly that it can't happen soon enough.
This July I'll be 33... and I'm tired of living in this natural fat suit. Ugh!!!
Hi, just wanted to let you know that I had a wonderful experience with the same surgical group you are using. Jodi kept me informed of everything and when my insurance said they needed more information regarding dieting, Jodi even knew just who to send me to so it was written up properly. I was approved quickly after it was submitted. So hang in there and stay the course. You might also want to join in a support group meeting at Penrose hospital. They are the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays and the 2nd & 4th Fridays in the Cancer pavillion.

Yippppeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! I have been approved and I am getting ready for my BIG DAY!!! Thanks to those who have posted responses... it helped. I can't even believe how quickly Cigna accepted. LoL Kind of funny.... they must have known I really needed this surgery!!! Jodi had sent Cigna my paperwork around June 11th and I received the notice in the mail on June 16th!!! Now THAT is fast business!!! And now... I have my pre-op lab tests tomorrow, June 27th (Thursday) and next Monday, July 2nd is my surgery!! I am SO excited!!! The big day is finally almost here!!! Yipppppeeeee!!!!!!
