Looking for Dr. Chae "graduates"..

I am 2 years out.... I love Dr Chae! After I had my RNY, my brother had it and then my sister. A couple of my husbands friends have also gone to Dr Chae. It is the best. I agree...pick Kelly brain. She is an incredible person too. Please don't hesitate to email me if you would like. Also, go to the support group at Skyridge...it is great!

Hi Jennifer, I had surgery with Dr. Chae on Dec 20, 2006. I have lost 92lbs. Dr. Chae is one of the best Doctors I have ever had. He really cares for his patients. SkyRidge hospital is wonderful. The nurses were great. I can't say enough about Dr. Chae. I highly recommend him. My Sister had her surgery with Dr. Chae on Feb. 19th. My surgery was going to be after Christmas and I got a call from Dr. Chae's office telling me they wanted to do it on the 20th. I freaked out but all went well. The cleanse the night before surgery is horrible. Post Op went okay. Make sure you walk as much as you can. I felt nauseous the first week but after that first week I felt good. Be prepared for the emotional rollercoaster for the first couple of weeks. It is perfectly normal but it can be rough. Just know that it is all worth it and I am here for you or anyone that needs a friend. Were you at the May support group? Everything will go just fine. You are in the best hands! Hey Jennifer, I just found this web site and read your request for information. Well I just had my surgery 4 weeks ago yesterday. Dr. Chae is one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. My surgery was a piece of cake. I was able to go home the day after my surgery. I really have'nt had much trouble and as of today I've lost 34 pounds. I don't know why I didn't have this done sooner. Hi!  I am new to this and about 6 weeks away from surgery with Dr. Chae.  I am SOOOOO glad I read this and found this post!  It is wonderful to know people who have worked with the doctor about to do your surgery!  He sounds awesome and I can't wait to see how you did last week!  THANKS everyone for the info!
