New to OH

My name is Kathie and I had my Rouen Y this past Monday (4/09/07). I am home recovering. I was discharged on oxygen which I have never had before so that is a bummer, but other than that am ready for the journey.

Welcome Kathie, Hope you are recoverying well from your surgery. I had my surgery 5 years ago. I didnt have to come home with 02 but had drains and was very tired. You will do fine with the 02. It just takes time. Everyday it gets better and better. I am Carla Klein and I live in Centennial near Smokey Hill and Danube. I have lost 150 pounds. Enjoy the ride down it is a lot of fun doing new things or things that you havent done in a long time. I am residing in Chicago for a while longer. I am a cosmetologist cutting hair for now. Hoping to be back with my husband in July. My Colorado liscense should be comming soon. Carla Klein also welcome Nikki.

Thanks so much for the reply. I am ten days post op and I feel pretty good. I am off the oxygen during the day, but still using just a tiny bit at night. I had a sleep study last night and did not qualify for the CPAP part so I am thinking I will get rid of the oxygen at night shortly. I have been walking but really need to pump it up. Otherwise I just get tired pretty easily. So I am really excited to see the weight come off. Thanks again for your kind wishes.
