Looking for a new psychiatrist...

Does anyone know of a good psychiatrist in Colorado Springs who has experience with weight loss surgery patients? I was just approved for my gastric bypass, but I don't trust my current doctor to medicate me correctly after I've had the surgery. She has no prior experience with any patient who has had weight loss surgery, and lately I've had other problems with her. I really don't want to deal with having to go through the surgery AND medication problems with my bipolar illness. I'd welcome any referrals. Thanks!

hey rebekah, the only psychiatrist i know of is in ft. collins. now my daughter lisa could suggest one here. she has bipolar and been too them all.

When I lived there I saw Dr. Kenneth Gamblin for years. He is great when you call his office his secretary will take your name and number and he will call you back and talk with your every time, It is never a long wait as he makes the calls between patients that he sets a side each time. I miss him as my doctor but my dr here does come close so that makes me happy. Jenn
