New to Denver

Hey everyone, Just wanted to say HI. I just moved her a week ago from Arizona. I am a bypass patient about 5 weeks out. It's been a journey, but well worth it. Are there any local support groups or clothing exchanges here in Denver? Hope to meet some of you!! Take care, Danielle

Hello Danielle! Welcome to snowy Colorado. I too moved here from Arizona. I grew up in Sierra Vista and lived in Tucson before moving here. I've been here almost 14 years and still have not aclimated to the cold. After bypass, you'll never be warm again! Sorry to tell you that. There are several support groups run thru different doctors. The one I go to is at Sky Ridge Hospital in the southern end of Denver. The nutritionist who runs my group also runs others through out the metro area.
