Finally Have a Date - March 20th

Hi all! I haven't poste din a long time, but I finally got my surgery date today. it will be March 20th with Dr Brown at PSL. I am excited but not freaking out like I thought I would be. I guess I am relieved to finally be here. Now I just need to get everything together - I have about a month now. Yeah!!! SHerry

congrats!!! it will seem like forever but when you look back it will have flown by. don't forget your chapstick!! prayers go out to you.

Thank you for the post! I guess I am nervous about making it through surgery more than anything else. It's not likely anything will go wrong, but there is always that chance. Just nervous now I think. Sherry

What your feeling Sherry is all natural feelings before surgery. I had several cases of the what if's and each time it was different. You may very well likely suffer from the what if's after surgery. This to is natural. send me a private messege anytime you feel like it. Jenn

Sherry, that was one of my fears also but I just desided to make a stand ....i was so sick ant tired of being sick and tired i just desided it was time for beth to take charge!! And almost 5 years later I can finally reach my back to pet it...haha Beth from North Platte

Thanks Mike! It's hard not to think about the "what if" but I'm tryin'! How are you doing on the 3 day fast? At least your surgery is early Tuesday, right? Did anyone else form class join here? I haven't seen anyone yet anyway. Do you remember Amy from the last night of class? Well, I actually met here on this forum back in Sept when I got the call about starting class. I haven't seen her here in a long time, but she did look really great speaking at the class that night. She was the tall one who had lost 100+ lbs in 4 months. Maybe that will be one of us in 4+ months from now? Well, I gotta get going. Take care! Sherry

I think it's perfectly normal to be excited and anxious about surgery of any kind especially weight loss surgery with the life changing effects it will have. My surgery is scheduled for March 6th.
