Finally Writing...

I have been a silent OH message board groupie for months. I have excellent news for Charlotte R. from Colorado Springs. I am having Lap-Band surgery on 2-7-07 too! I always get a kick out of people who share the same birthday with me. I found it cool that I could share a re-birthday with someone.

Hi Sentosha, This is Charlotte...my surgery went very well (R&Y)...I was out of the hospital by Saturday. My tummy is still a bit sore, but I feel really good. Want to hear something amazing??? I weighed myself the night before my surgery and then this morning...I am 19 lbs lower!!! Can you believe it? How the heck is that even possible? It is not like I have 300 to lose...I only have 100 to lose. I am so happy I am on my way. How are you doing? I have a cousin who is very interested in the LapBand and lives here in Colorado. My Dr. said they will start doing them in March or April. I am very curious to hear your progress. Please keep in touch!! -Charlotte
