Hi Everyone, This is my first post (other then a few replys to posts) I just got the call I have been waiting for today. My Dr. is Dr. Scott Fisher, and his assistant finally called today to tell me she has everything she needs to schedule my surgery. I am getting together with her tomorrow aftrernoon. She said Fisher is scheduling 2 weeks out so that is when I can anticipate my surgery!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!! I am so ready to get back to living...I can't wait to learn to snowboard! Not to mention my 20th class reunion is in July and we have a trip planned to Puerto Vallarta in August. Who knows...I might actually wear a swimsuit in public!!!! Wouldn't that be something!! By the way, I am 37, I have two wonderful kids a boy 14 and a girl 12. My husband is a professional firefighter, mountian climber, Scoutmaster, Soccer coach...etc...you name it....I can't wait to start doing things with him again...like climb a mountian!! I work for a software company as a National Account Manager....it will be great to get in front of customers and not feel ashamed!! Thanks for listening!!! -Char

Congrats!! I know the hardest part for me was waiting for that surgery date to get scheduled. Once that was done my nervousness started to go down. Best of luck to you and I will be watching for you on top of the mountain. Danielle

Well, I saw my Doctor on Tuesday and they said they could schedule me next week or in March...those were my choices...I took next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I can't believe it!!! My surgery date is 2-7-07...sounds lucky 2 me! It is all happening so fast! I LOVE Memorial Medical Network. They got the info from Jodie and approved me the same day! But here is my tiny fear...food is my comfort when I am anxious and stressed or sad...how am I going to have comfort...what will I use? I know that sounds silly...but I am trying to think of new ways to cope during these times...any thoughts? I just can't believe it...me thin again, I thought the day would never come...I can't wait to see the real me in the mirror again. thanks for all your support everyone!!!
