fort carson support group?

i am new to the area, from alabama. i was wondering when & where a support group is in or around fort carson. thanks in advance, bonnie

there is a support group meeting at carson. usually they meet at the hospital dining facility. it is on a wednesday night. not sure which one though. you can call the surgery clinic or the nutritionist at the hospital and they will be able to fill you in better. also penrose hospital in the springs has an awesome support group, which several times a week. if you want more info on that i can give it to you. sorry i wasn't much help.

thanks anna, sorry i missed your surgery. we had to live in a motel for 2 weeks.....5 of us!!! 3 of them teenagers...ugh!! lol! thank God we finally got our house....and it is a real house.....2 story at that!! lol hope things are going well & hope to meet ya soon! bonnie

Call Vicki in the Nutrition Clinic she will have the information. Also think about going to Penrose Suport Group it is for all WLS patients wheather or not from Penrose. When I moved away they were very active well they still are as they have the regular group as well as the back on track. I can send you the link to their MSN Group site. The meetings are the 3rd wednesday of every month at 6:30pm. The post-ops are in the Dining facility on the first floor of Evans Army Community Hospital. The pre-ops are in the Family waiting room on the 5th floor. Where are you from in Alabama?
