I'll be in lap band surgery as of the morning of the Jan. 26th (Friday) 2007.:-D I've read everything I can find, on line. I've read all the pros and cons regarding both lap and RNY. I'm glad I'm doing the slow route, and not the permanent route. I'm happy to know that if for some reason, I see this all as a mistake, at some point in the future, I can go and have this removed, IF I WANTED. No "buyer's remorse".:'p Therein lies the freedom of choice, no post surgery regrets, and minimal illness associated. :-D Meanwhile, I just wanna have some fun!!!!!!!!!!! :fairy: Summer time, bathing suits, swimming pools, dances, etc. I've missed all this, and dance classes as well. Fun in the sun, here I come!!!!!! :o) Rebekah L.

Way to go! Isn't it WONDERFUL to have options! I chose RNY myself because I absolutely need permanent. You'll do great!!!
