Age of candidate

Help!! My son is going to be 17 soon and he needs and wants to have Lap Band surgery. I had an RNY 4 years ago and lost 400lbs so I know the risks and complications due to these surgeries. Does anyone here in Colorado actually do the Lap Band surgery for teenagers with consent and understanding of parents/guardians?
