Is Anyone Out There Bipolar Who Has Had The Surgery?

I need to know about those who are bipolar and have had gastric bypass surgery. Nothing bothers me except the fact after any surgery some people become depressed. There is nothing that will stop me from having it. I am worried about the severe highs and lows that I have during stress. Looking forward to hearing a reply. SiBon in Fort Collins

Hiya You should cross post this to the main board as we have MANY who are bipolar and have had or have planned to have bypass surgery. It's not uncommon at all and manageable if your psyche works closely with you on adjusting your meds.
