Hi Chantelle, I hope that things are well with you. I am preparing for surgery on June 22nd. I am going through all sorts of emotions. I went to my pe op class and kind of felt out of place. Everyone else was having the lap band, so the class was geared towards that. If I am ever in your area on a meeting night, I would love to drop in and meet you. I am in Loveland. Have a great night and take care, Dee

You won't regret your decision. I understand your confusion and fears. I had a rny laparoscope 3/22/02 and haven't regreted it at all. You've made the decision to live. I have a life now and can walk across the room without the pain I felt at 376 lbs. I still have a way to go,though. I've read that we can return to the basics: liquid protein just like after surgery for a while so I'm going to give that a try too. We can get through this together. You are not alone. I am new to this website. Maybe you can help me. kris
