Hello everyone I am proud to say that I finally had my tt and every thing went swell I was only away from work for 1 week and I feel great so now I need to figure out what to do with my legs I have lots of skin there and its really heavy.Hips and knees are starting to hurt again but I wonder if insuranse will pay for my legs and thighs, what would this be called. And what would be a medical necessity for this if I wanted the insurance to pay for this anyone know. If it is causing you pain and discomfort that might be enought to consider it a medical necessity. Check with your plastics Dr. Glad things went well for you with the surgery. Good luck!

Hi Cnantelle, My name is Joyce DePass and I am from the Springs. Could you give me information about your tt. I have heard that you can get it done after l year of your rny surgery, I have heard that you must maintain your weight for 3 months, and I have also heard that you cannot have the tt until you are 18 mos out. How was it for you? And how did the surgery go? I am glad that you are doing good. Take care of you! Hope to hear from you soon. Aloha, Joyce

joyce how are you, good i hope well, joyce i actually had my tt. 17m after but there was not a time frame for me ,when i felt i was ready i started the process but i would definitely wait until a year has passed and then decide from there.also it would be gould to start the process ahead of time so if there are any insurance issues you can work out the dents while your still losing.im not sure about maintaining your weight for 3 months i was not told that but it sounds like a good idea.but i think if you are at your goal weight that should be good.and by the way my tt went great i was up and running in a week. thanks for asking and have a joyful day. chantelle york
