Well today everything is starting to fall into place. Surgery date confirmed for June 12. Insurance approved the testing is done time off approved and fmla paperwork filled out. Now all I have to do is wait and get nervous. All my family is 500 miles away but my mom will be coming thank goodness. The kids will be with their grandpa for the month so they are taken care of.. wow cant belive this. I know that I am doing the right thing but have the nomal butterflies that all preop pts have. Please Say some prayers for me...Thanks Toni

Congrats on your surgery date. I was nervous prior to surgery too, but it all worked out. Remember last years big April blizzard - that was the time I had my surgery. My nephew and I sat there Sunday night glued to the tv waiting for them to say I-25 was open..... we were both doing the happy dance at 9pm when they said it was. Your day is coming up quickly. Meditate, relax, take a good book and your chapstick (I also took my pillow and a quilt my mom made me) to the hospital. And when you wake up on the losing side - start walking. The more you walk the sooner you get let out of the hospital. Good luck and God Bless. Kimberley

Hi Toni, Congratulations on getting your date!!! It will be here fast. You will be in my prayers for an uneventful procedure. I would say that the butterflies are normal. I know that I have them. I am so excited though. Dee
