Topic: RE: scheduled for bariatric surgery orientation @ Kaiser Fontana, what can I expect?
I did the 3 hour orientation on Friday 14th of Sept, then had my first options class on 9-18-12 The orientatin just went over all the different options in surgeries and what to expect as far as appointments and classes. After you finished your options classes, why did it take so long for surgery?

When did you have your surgery and what surgeon did you have?

They are really backed up. It takes forever (or it least it seems that way) to get your appointments with the bariatrician, psych consult, then off of coordinator's desk so you can get the surgeon consult, then surgery. Be prepared, this process moves very slow.

Well, how did it go? I know they keep changing things. I finished the options program in late May, had surgery 11 days ago.

Already planning to vote yes. I could write a book about why this is so important. Not only are they poisoning us with their GMO "food" but they now want to take over all seeds as well. They also want to regulate backyard gardens. Being a gardener, this ticks me off. It does not matter if you are Republican, Democrat, or anything else, we need this bill to pass.

Topic: RE: SF/Bay Area Support Group - Saturday 9/1/12
Hi Tara,
You probably don't remember me from May 2011, but I met with you and was excited that you were going to create this group. As it turns out I didn't have my VSG until Sept. 13, 2012, over a year after I saw you. I am still housebound from having the surgery right now, but I was happy to find this post from you on obesityhelp. I would love to be part of this group. When will you meet again? Did you see this post, in which someone is trying to start an SF support group? I will post on that thread about your support group, but you may want to do the same thing. http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/CA/4565341/Bay-Area-Group-Sleevers-by-the-Bay/
Thank you Tara for offering us your support!
