Welcome to the forum. Just so you know, the CA forum is a little slow. If you are looking for some more specific support, I highly recomend the forum that matches your surgery type, lots of helpful info.

I thought Dr. Chin was with Kaiser now. Or, there might be two of them. I am a Kaiser patient, I had Dr. Fedorka, but Dr. Chin is the other surgeon. Kaiser is renting OR space at St. Bernadines while the new hospital is under construction. What hospital are you going to?

Topic: SoCal Coffee Followup

We did our SoCal Coffee Meetup this past Saturday. Ms. Shell set it up - but I just wanted to post in here so that all the Cali peeps can know how it went.

It went GREAT!! We had a really good time just hanging out, talking and getting to know one another. Many of the people are going to come to our Halloween party in November - I recommend that you check it out too!! I truly enjoyed getting to meet everyone - there was about 12-15 people and 1 puppy. Next time I might just bring my pug. But he's easily excitable. lol. It was a great time - I don't know how much more to emphasize how much fun we all had. I would recommend that when the next one is posted - if you are able to come - that you at least try to fit in for at least 10 minutes to say hi. You will have so much fun you won't want to leave!!

My name is Lillian I am a patient of western bariatrics in SoCal, just wondering if there are any other patients here, i have my surgery with Dr.Chin on Oct. 12th. Currently on the pre op diet I am very excited and nervous at the same time.. Anyway just hoping to meet some locals on here
