I would suggest you contact the surgeons office that you want to do your surgery, ask them what THEY take.

I have heard of it but the diet is 500 calories a day and I couldn't figure out how to get 100 grams of protein out of 500 cal.
Maybe if you did the drops but kept the calories higher than that.
Back on track is 100 grams of protein ( less if you are short) no more than 5 grams of sugar or fat per meal. I eat something every 2-3 hours.
Vitamins are a must
Best wishes !!!!! I hope something works for you !!

I have a few questions...I am a post rou-n -y gastric bypass patient, 5 years out. I lost 80 lbs and have gained back 40. Nothing I do seems to help me get back on track, by the way I am 53 years young, my diabetes is completely controlled and that is what I am most happy with. However, I am now anemic and tired all the time, I take all my vitamins and iron on a schedule, but am still feeling this way...now to my questions?
Has anyone ever tried Omnitrition and used their hCG drops for weight loss after being post op from gastric by pass? If so, did it work for you?
Would love to hear from any of you, please email me at [email protected]

I am in the insurance approval phase now through Dr LePorts office :)
Hi SoCal people, I have a couple of suggestions for our planned meet up and would like some feedback. Do you want to go back to the Santa Monica pier? Ports of Call in San Pedro? Meet up at Miss Bobbie's low carb shop in Tustin and then go shopping in the shops nearby then head to a nearby beach? Or, meet up at a Starbucks in the Newport Beach area then go hang out at the beach? Or, we can skip the beach area altogether and meet up at a Starbucks in the IE, go shopping at Ontario Mills, and maybe go ice skating?
Let me know what you think. I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone. Oh, for those who want to make a full day of it, we can have dinner somewhere before we head for home.
FMLA should cover this. It is to take care of yourself and I think as long as your Dr places your on disability you are covered under SDI.
I had Lap Band surgery in 2008, through Blue Cross at New Reflections in Norwalk, Ca. I am not happy with my results. I want to have gastric bypass but I currently do not have insurance. I am going to apply for coverage from any company that covers the surgery. I need to know what insurance to apply for though. Can you give me some ideas of who to go with? Insurance wise or dr. wise. I am thinking of going with Dr. Milton Owens. If you have any info please let me know. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
LOL it's a "dry heat" It'll be hot but the resort has a ton of pools and a water park and really most of the time will be spent in the resort AC in the awesome sessions.
