I remember you from this board.  Didn't you come to the Long Beach support group as well?  Anyway - I'm almost 5 years out and have gained weight coupled with an alcohol addition.  I came to the board to see if there still a meet up.  But it seems as if this board has been abandoned. I live in Folsom...it has that small town feel, yet you are close enough if you want to go into the City of Sacramento.  I also lived in Roseville for over 20 years, which I would whole heartedly put my stamp on!  I like living closer to the foothills than the City of Sacramento. Roseville, Rocklin, Loomis, Folsom, Lincoln are near enough if you work in Sacramento.  Hey, I even have friends who commute from Auburn and Placerville areas.  I wish you luck, Sacramento is a great location and is close enough to travel to San Francisco, or up the Sierras if you are a camping or snow bunny. Just remember though, we get up into the century mark in the summer, dry heat...but we have the Sierra Nevada mountains to escape to, or perhaps to the coast! 

I won't actually be on Medical until the first of the year, so it'll be a while until I'm approved. The health plan I'm on now doesn't cover WLS, so luckily I'm getting switched over to Medical.
