Topic: RE: Dr courin?

Yes I had Dr.Coirin do my RNY in April '05 and did great for 2 years and then the weight came back on. I opted for a revision to the duodenal switch (DS) and I wished Dr. Coirin would have done it, but he didn't so I had to travel 3 hours to get it done by Dr. Keshishian and I am so much happier. But what Dr. Coirin did was awesome. I did my research, checked the revision board, failed weight loss surgery board, and the DS forum here on OH, and made my decision to get cut again just to get it right. Good luck to you. Have you had the surgery yet? I just noticed the date you posted. LOL.

I just buy the brand sold at Costco.  I buy vanilla since it is more versatile.

Topic: 10 Year Anniversary

Hi, my 10 year anniversary is fast approaching.  I lost so much weight only to regain 110 pounds back.  Now, I am once again working my pouch to lose some of that weight.  I am currently 265 and would like to be at 180 wich is my ideal weight.  I think that I became way too skinny and people thought that I was sick.  However, I do need to lose this weight, I am having gastric reflux, sleep apnea is back, as well as, aches and pains in my body resulting from the excess weight.  WLS is a lifelong commitment that, if you stray, you'll pay dearly with excess weight.  Here I am again, making my pouch work for me and trying to lose most of the gain weight again.  Good luck to me!!!

Topic: Protein Powder Samples?

There used to be a lady with her website that sold samples of various brands/flavors of protein powder. Does anyone know her website, or anyone else that does something similar? thanks!

Topic: Come Run with Me - Campbell, CA!

I used to be very active in this forum but it's been over 5 years since my surgery and I've cut back on my internet. :)

Anyway I'm starting a running group and our first meeting is this Tuesday. We're meeting at 6:30 pm at Campbell Track.

The group is oriented towards people who can't run a 5k or can but your mile time is more then 10 minutes per mile. But everyone is welcome!

You can read more about here and sign up using the link on the page. Or just show up!
