I haven't had any problems so far. A little gassy the first few days but that is over. I am however struggling getting all the protein in. I drink all day long but when I add it up at the end of the day I am still short. Seems hard to get 64oz of fluid in a 2oz pouch. So, I feel this in my activities. I can tell I don't have enough energy. I am hoping it works itself out which I am sure it will. But otherwise I feel great and know this was the best thing I have done for myself and look forward to my journey as I read about yours.

Hello all, I am looking for a young lady that had her sleeve/resleeve/revision with Dr. Ramos Kelly on 3/6/14. We spoke some when we were getting our swallow tests together at Hospital Angeles. You were there with your husband and you were from L.A. I believe. You said that you would call me later, and I think that maybe you did, but you may have asked for me by the wrong name and I had been asleep and didn't catch on. No biggie, I just wanted to connect with you, see how you were doing, etc. I sure hope that you see this. If you do, feel free to reply or just private message me.

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!
We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they
ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Hello Debbie,
In the first 2 years after Lap-Band surgery, I was very happy with my results!! I thought I was progressing well, exercising, and receiving regular fills and check-ups with my doctor, I had lost over 80lbs! Then in 2011 I lost my job....along with that my health benefits..... bi-weekly dr. visits at $150 added up quickly, and I could no longer afford to see him.... over the last 2 years I have gained and lost and gained and lost, and have GERD as a result of my lap-band. Truly what I am after is having my band removed, and then have the gastric sleeve surgery. At this weight, I am unc own skin, and I am uncomfortable in my own skin, almost depressed at times, and feel like a failure for gaining weight after having WLS. I have since found a surgeon, and I am on my way!! I am very happy with my journey so far, and owe a lot of my success to this website and all the helpful people here that have answered my crazy questions and helped me when I asked for it. Thanks for your help! :)
