Topic: Welcome to Sunday! Any Plans for Today?
Good morning Cali Friends,
Oh it's Sunday already? Just seems like we celebrated Friday! The weekends go by too fast.
Yesterday we had our Grandson over for the morning/afternoon. We went to a great park in Concord called Matteo's Dream Park for children with all abilities. A special needs child was wheelchair bound and before he passed, he shared his dream of creating a park where all children could play together. I'm telling you SO much thought went in to this park it was wonderful. It's tactile for children who might have site needs, wide and safe enough for wheelchairs, and all made out of the plastic boards so no splinters. Way cool. Cam had a blast and frankly we did too.
Then it was off to lunch and then home where he "helped" Grandpa run some electrical conduit for outside lighting. He loved being on the ladder and handing tools to Grandpa. For a little 4 year old, he really did help him and both enjoyed it emensly!
Today brings backyard work and veggie feeding. No other plans for me.

Good Afternoon,
So happy today is Saturday and I'm not at work. It was a busy week. I'm back at it tomorrow, but then I'm off for 9 days. I might see if they need help on Monday though. It will all depend on what my day is like tomorrow. Today I haven't done much, went and saw the last part of Harry Potter, it was good, but the books were much better. It is sad to see its over. I really enjoyed the story. Right now, I am just enjoying being on the couch, and doing nothing. I might go for a walk later, if I can talk myself into it. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

work, its not easy, i know. I weghed 384, thats alot. and I'm 58 yr. old I started this
Journey in March, and just taking a step at a time. Hope to get a surgery date sometime
at the end of the year. Had to lose 50 lbs, have lost 18 now, down to 370, only 32 lbs. to go.
Then they will set up my surgery date, having the RNY done . LIve in the Central Valley
