Post Date: 8/1/11 11:21 am So now what??? I saw my Dr at 9 this morning and she entered the referral? Do I try to call and expedite the process? Do I sit on my hands? Help- what's the next step? Thanks for your feedback. |

There are a couple of excellent doctors in Mexico, ones that rival the best in the US. To completely discount using them without even one bit of research is the height of "logic overcoming emotion, which leads to bad decision making" in my opinion.
Actually, it sounds more like "emotion overcoming logic" to me. One bad experience is making it impossible for her to see clearly.

I self paid for my DS and I could have afforded any DS surgeon in the world. I chose Dr. Ungson in Hermosillo Mexico for his background, credentials, reputation, and education. What was true then, is still true now: Dr. Ungson is STILL the BEST investment for ANY self-pay patient. The cleanliness and quality of the care I received there far surpasses anything I have ever experienced or witnessed in the US.

Hi Everyone -
I am still here and just as busy as ever. Well, maybe a little busier now, but you will find out all about that on the 5th.
As you know my 2 year surgiversary came and went. I have yet to see my surgeon for my 2 yr. appt. but hope to make that appt. this week. I think I need to change my eating habits. Not sure if I need to increase (protein) or decrease. My weight has been the same for a year. Have not exercised in a couple of months, but I need to get moving again.
Want to wish you all a great week. I check in from time to time, but usually do not post. As you know from previous posts, i am long winded and can write a short story on my posts.
Stay tuned for a post I will be posting end of the week.
Talk with you all soon.
