Thank you for this post.  Although I have the VSG and not ALL the same "rules" apply I try to still NOT take NSAIDS and had switched to Tylenol...well lately I was taking nabumetone, for my arthritis, well didn't realize it was a NSAIDS...good thing I've only been taking say 1 a day for the last week maybe, BUT, even better news the Tylenol I have was working just as good, so tylenol it is...

My consult was with Dr. Mariotti in Concord.  He actually talked me out of getting a facelift.  I found him very professional, attentive and thorough.  We settled on augmentation w/o lift and a lower body lift which he said would help about 25% or so with the inner thighs as well taking a wait and see approach on whether an inner thigh would be necessary later.
He is conservative in his approach when it comes to augmentation....favoring natural over OMG.

Topic: RE: Anyone in Northern California?
 Hi Lori,

I just sent you a friend request so we can keep in contact (sorry I spelled your name wrong). Sounds like your pretty close by to me in Roseville. How is your recovery going? Which surgery did you have done? Maybe we can talk on the phone if you want. Message me back and let me know.

Leslie

P.s. My surgery went as smooth as could me and I am now 5 weeks out almost 6 =)

Hi Leslie, I know your post was from a while back, but I'm brand new and just saw it.  I'm in Roseville and just had surgery 1.5 weeks ago.  How did yours go?

Lori :)

Topic: RE: Hardest 10 lbs!
Hi Michelle,
I hear ya about those last 10 pounds.  It took me months and months.  I finally had to get really serious about dropping every carb that didn't come from a veggie.  I hadn't tracked every bite over the summer.... vacation and other excuses etc.  Once I started tracking and dumped all the carbs, things started to move again and actually more quickly than they had in a really long time.

Yours will come off!

Dr. Krahn's support group meets once a month at St. Bernadine's Hospital.  It;s in San Bernardino which isn't too far for you.  I travel all the way from La Verne to go there.
One day at a time, and one meal at a time, and I WILL reach my goal!

This totally sounds like that considerlapband girl. I never knew there was so many people post that use the line 'don't contact me again' to someone that is trying to help them.

But this made me laugh and i needed a good Friday laugh
