I don't know anyone with RNY that has "dumped" from these, they are not as high sugars as some brands. and usually all of these are reasonable priced bars

I like oh yea protein bars and they have over 20 grams of protein. I am not sure if they are at cosco but I know they have premier protein bars and they have about 20 grams.

Topic: support group meeting in San Jose next week
We'll have our monthly DS (duodenal switch) support group meeting next Wednesday, Sept. 22 from 6-8 pm in the Theater Building of Hoover Middle School at 1635 Park Ave., San Jose.
Anyone interested in learning more about this outstanding form of wls is welcome, and your support person is welcome as well. It's a small, informal group of friendly people who have a lot of great knowledge and experience to share. Anyone considering wls should know as much as possible about ALL the options before making such an important decision.

Life is good! As I approach my one month surgiversary (time sure flies when you are melting away) - people are noticing with a WOW! I have co workers giving me stuff they are now too large to fit into as I melt away before them (I LOVE THIS!!)

Murrieta is further than I would like to travel on a Monday I get up at 4am. I know that scripps has one in Del Mar area 2nd monday of every month at the Schaetzel Center (sorry misspelled I'm sure) and it starts at 5:30 and goes till 6:30

I try not to eat protein bars a lot, but I do always keep one in my purse & at my desk just in case.
The ones that I like are the Power Crunch - it's about 200 cal, 5g sugar, 13g protein,10g carb & the other one I like is the Think Thin bar it is 240 cal, 0 sugar, 20g protein, 24g carb. & 8g fat
You can get them both at trader joe's.
