I've had the lapband with Dr. Coirin, he's a great surgeon I have no complaints. I've stopped losing weight and thats not the surgeons fault. It's mine, I should have gotten the gastric bypass. I'm actually going to go in tomorrow to find out about switching and what it entails.

Dr. Batra is not in your area, but in southern CA. But he has many wt loss patient who fly in for his services from Alaska, Hawaii, foreign countries, etc. He's been on the Oprah show in the past couple of years with his volunteering in Doctors Without Borders. He does about 70-75 procedures per year on wt loss patients, so he has a lot of expereince.  He does a wide variety of procedures, but limits them to 6 hours of operating time in one surgery.   This surgeon has spoken at our support groups and several members have used his services for breast augmentation, breast reduction, arm or thigh lift, tummy tuck, etc.  Lower body lift may require 2 time in surgery if the procedures require more than 6 hours of surgery. I haven't any direct experince with any of the providers, but several of the members of our local support group have used Dr. Kenneth Bermudez and speak highly of him
