Questions anybody familiar with the California Plastic Surgery Reconstruction Law? I am trying to do as much research as possible.
Ok....I am super excited!! My PCP says he will give me the needed referral to see a plastic surgeon!!! I know this doesn't mean that I will be approved for plastic but it means I am on my way!!!!! I told him my body looks like a 72 year old and that it's due to health disease/deformity of obesity. He said I don't mind considering your body has been thru major changes with weight loss! Wish me luck cause I am in there!!

well things are better today the dreaded 3 week stall died a slow death and I fell 5 lbs this week after only losing 3 in last 8 days and now I said good bye to my old "friend" of 300 lbs and now
297lbs I am out 4 weeks and have lost 36 pounds ....I work hard at it and wish to lose a120lbs more!I love my RNY because it keeps me focused, because hes (or what ever I should call it!) is the boss.. workout are my mainstay and latly seems they'er hard or more difficult to do so am going to mix it up and see what happens! food intake, water,proteins are all where I should be but must say that I had to increase cal x400 or two more protein shakes last few day to break stall!..good luck all

Good morning my CA peeps!
Things have been hecka crazy. My dog at my lap top cable that charges it, so my battery has been dead. My mom bought me a new cable - however it doesnt charge, just runs power to it (barely) Life has been life getting busier, especially working out 6 days a week now. I am just a smidge over 200, and just itching to get to ONEderland!
My two month surgiversary has come and gone and still feeling as great as ever!! Time is just going by so fast I almost wish things would slow down just a bit!

Welcome, welcome, welcome. We'd love to have you come anytime. Our next gathering after our Nov. luncheon will be out Potluck in Dec. and we have SUCH a fun time. It starts a little later, so hopefully you can make it.

we won't make it after all. Had to change my weekend I was going back down south. Still getting things done for Dad.
See you all in December. I would like to surprise Rick by having a little B-Day cake for him at the Christmas potluck. Hope I can work it out!

Mike and I are doing well. Living in Orange County now. I hope your quest for WLS works out for you. I will tell you, however, that almost everyone I know, including myself, have had weight gain in later years. If you are not prepared to completely change your life, then WLS is not the answer. Don't get me wrong, I don't regret having the surgery. I regret that I didn't change my habits and when life got difficult I went back to old habits. I am now on Weigh****chers and have lost 25 of the pounds I have gained and working on learning how to eat for the rest of my life. Keep us posted on how things progress for you and I know I speak for Mike when I say we wish you the best. Please send our love to your Mom.
