I am so glad to hear this! I could use this a lot. I am Kaiser post op WLS with over 170+ loss in extra weight. I got so much skin, even though a lot has retracted but it is still bad. Does anyone know when this will be in affect? And.... what could or would be the co-pay? If I go out of pocket now, it could cost me $50K or more for what I truly need.
Do you have a list to see what co pays you do have? You can call customer services to double check, but sounds like you're ok. I got Kaiser via work and the co-pay was for the hospital room usage only; $100.00 and that was it. I paid for my exit meds at regular co pay of $10.00 each prescription. That's all... Best wishes and good luck too.

I live in Huntington BEach very close to Long Beach would love to know about a group or even possibly meet up with just whoever is in the area!
I was approved with Anthem Blue Cross (HMO) twice. In 2008 I didn't have a supervised diet with Saint Jude. It was 1 nutrition class, an information class, a support group session, a psychological evaluation and doctor's talk. Everything was completed in a month, however the entire process took about 6 months due to wait time on getting doctor appointments and approvals..
2015 I am going through a revision sort of speak. Lap-band was removed in 2013 and I'm having surgery for RNY next month. I still have Anthem Blue Cross but under Bright Medical. I had to do a total of 18 nutritional classes, a psychological evaluation and doctor's talk. All that was completed in 3 months because they allowed us to take the classes concurrently. The process is still taking 8 months due to wait time on doctor appointments and approvals.
hi lori so my doctor refered me to Dr.Coates in Modesto as well. How was your experience and how long was your recovery time?
