I wanted to invite anyone who is close enough to attend (or heck, even if you're not close and want to join us!) to a meet up. I've made many wonderful friends on this site, and the support is invaluable. We periodically get together for some social/support time!

Hi there today is my 7 year anniversary with the RNY which only just occurred to me as I was writing this! Lol, I am done having babies and gaining and losing weight. After gaining back 150lbs I had lost and now having lost that again over the past year (Lindora) I am now going in for a panniculectomy and hernia repair and a fleur d' lis tummy tuck on July 9, 2012. Any advice as to what I can expect? Pain, results, potholes to avoid etc. My current weight is about 270. Thank you

Dr Zare's patients are referred to the Good Samartian meetings. They are free of charge for his patients. We meet every 2nd Tuesday and every 4th Thursday. Time 7-9 pm.
The meetings take place in the portable trailer next to the east entrance.
I'm surprised Dr. Zare's office haven't told you about this meeting. I've been going since pre-op.

I live in Northern California near Reno and so far I can not find any one who takes straight Medi-Cal. I have been looking for over two years now. My doctor referred me to Davis but I guess they no longer take paitents with Medi-Cal. If anyone knows of a doctor please let me know. I have a little money I have saved up and would even be willing to fly to southern california.
