I live in Castro Valley and I'm looking for walking partners.

My RNY was in 2007 and I've bounced back up. I want to get this weight off again, so I'm looking for us to help each other. Maybe if another person is counting on me, it will motivate me to move.

Weekends are best, Lake Chabot, Five Canyons, Palomares, anywhere.

OMGosh, I remember the first time I went to Lake Chabot for a family picnic. I decided I could walk the "trail". How bad would 10 miles be? Needless to say once I found out it was too far, it was too late to turn back. I almost made it and got to 8 miles and my son (thank god for sons) had the ranger come and get me and drive me the rest of the way
