Out of town traveling to see Dr K in CA- help please

Hello all,

I am new and I am looking into traveling to see Dr K in CA.  I don't have a date yet, but I want to prepare.  I am traveling alone, he wants me to stay about one week post op,  does anyone have any ideas on where I can get someone to pick my up from surgery, check up on me, etc?  Would the hospital have this information?  Are there agencies?  I would be staying in a local hotel.   Any help would be appreciated.  I am going to post in DS forum too.

If you know what hospital you will be in, check with them to see if they have a car or taxi service, for a nominal fee some hospitals do have this option.

thanks everyone, I have to have someone, not a taxi, they want a person to pick me us.  Doug I looked at the agency you suggested but you need to sign in so I have not done that yet, but I will look.   I think I am going to post if someone local can help me also.  Thanks again
