surgery scheduled for 11/19/12 have so many different emotions

Hello new to OH, with my surgery date getting closer, I am very anxious and have some fears. I guess I'm just a little nervous of the unknown. I am also very interested in finding support groups in my area I live near Merced. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

my surgery is the same date...am looking forward to this journey..not from your area so can't advise on support groups in your area but this site seems pretty awesome at supporting everyone.
